Scopus

The Scopus database is the largest abstract and citation polythematic database of peer-reviewed literature (journals, monographs, anthologies, etc.). It currently contains records from approximately 5,000 publishers, including 22,000 journal records (3,400 are in Open Access mode) and approximately 34,000 book records.

Field coverage: natural sciences, technology, medicine, and social sciences, mainly of European origin
Time coverage: citation data since 1996, abstracts since 1823
