Self-service borrowing and return of documents

The service is provided by a self-service loan counter, the so-called SelfCheck, which is located in the open shelves area on the 3rd floor of the Research Library. SelfCheck enables, during library opening hours and only with the help of a student card, the full return and borrowing of documents.

Can’t pick up the ordered documents from the storage during library opening hours? A non-stop book box (KNIHOBOX) is available for registered users of the library, which enables contactless borrowing of pre-ordered documents located in storage. The possibility of booking orders for self-service borrowing via KNIHOBOX does not apply to documents placed in the open shelves area! The book box (KNIHOBOX) is freely available 24 hours a day next to the entrance of the KAS UJEP office. You must have a valid chip card under which you are registered at the library.

If the library is closed, you can use the return machine to return the document. To return documents, you only need a student card, which is also used to enter the machine. The return machine is located at the north/upper entrance to VK UJEP and is available 24 hours a day.
